Ronna Lara-Bes was born creative. She inherited her artistic leanings from her mother who was an untrained artist.
She, however, also embraces technology and what it has to offer. This led her to pursue and finish a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas. Later on, She would enjoy a successful career in Computer-Aided Design and Computer Graphics (3D).
2009 marked the creation of her first painting in acrylic. But it was in 2011 that she decided to truly “return to basics” by turning her attention towards traditional art. She then embarked in exploring acrylics and oil as painting mediums. Learning by doing, she challenges herself to meet the high standards of Philippine Art by joining numerous art contests.
Her style, like her personality, is multi-faceted. Her focus are on the fluid beauty of Koi's, the myriad possibilities of the female face and figure, as well as the expressiveness of human hands.
Her works had been exhibited in Manila, Rome & Vienna.
